Sarasota, February 7, 2013 – Each February, students from Cardinal Mooney High School participate in career shadowing day. This day gives young people a new perspective on their studies through hands-on learning and a one-day mentoring experience.
Students were paired with a mentor who they “shadowed” throughout the day to experience how the skills they learn in the classroom can be applied to the real world. This event also provided an opportunity to introduce future employees to the vast array of careers available in their prospective fields.
The Players Theatre was proud to host participants Jennifer McElroy, Grant Windom, and Garrett Schrantz.
“What a great opportunity to have the chance to positively influence our youths in the community” said Michelle Bianchi Pingel, Managing Director. “We are thrilled to be able to participate in this program with Cardinal Mooney High School.”
