Steven Vincent (Director of Dance) attended Adelphi University, Garden City, New York, where he received a Major in Dance with a Minor in Dramatic Arts. He partnered on Broadway with Ann Reinking, and toured with Mickey Rooney in George M! Steven has been Director of Dance here for the past seventeen years where he enjoys passing on the love of dance. He is director of The Players Kids, and has choreographed several musicals for The Players Theatre for which he received critical acclaim.
Berry Ayers (Director of Music) has theatre credits including performances Off-Broadway and a National Tour of the musical A Chorus Line, which he starred as Paul. He also performed in the original Los Angeles run of Naked Boys Singing and stayed with the company until it closed at the Actors Playhouse Off-Broadway. Other professional credits include Titanic, Annie, Forever Plaid and Plaid Tidings, State Fair, Show Boat, Footloose, Urinetown, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Full Monty, Anything Goes, Lend Me A Tenor and Avenue Q. His Musical Direction works also include The Players acclaimed production of The Who’s Tommy and Seussical; the Musical, he choreographed the sell out performances of A Chorus Line, and directed Applause as well as The Musical of Musicals: the Musical! and several revues for the Sarasota Silver Stars.
Alanna Burke has been working full time at the Sarasota Sheriff’s Office since 2001. She is also a Team Beachbody Coach and Certified Instructor. Alanna is a health and fitness enthusiast and is excited to pay her passion forward by teaching Hip Hop to our students.
Cinda Goeken grew up in Central Illinois and earned a B.F.A. in Drama from Illinois Wesleyan University. After pursuing a professional career in the field of mental health/rehabilitation for many years, she now devotes her time to participating in theatre in the local area, both onstage and behind the scenes as an actor, singer, director, stage manager and crew person. She has been teaching acting and singing fundamentals to students on a one-to-one basis for many years, thus bringing a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience.
Stacey Elise Haught returns to The Players after a two year absence. She has an extensive background in teaching performing arts with a specialty in On Camera Acting. Before becoming a wife and mother Stacey was in multiple student films, commercials and has done voice over projects. She also has done web and print modeling as well as directed two plays with The Players Teens and was Assistant Director for a main stage play for The Players Theatre. Her most recent favorite production, produced by herself and her husband Philip, is their son Emery.
Hannah Jordan- currently a member of Fuzion Dance Artists, began dancing at a young age. She has studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap, improvisation and dance composition, as well as dance related Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology. She graduated from Point Park University with a dual concentration in Modern and Contemporary Jazz, and continued her Ballet training through all four years. She taught ballet, jazz, modern, and tap at Anderson Young Ballet Theatre, Teresa’s Performing Arts, Woodland Community Center, and several other small venues. New to the area, Hannah is thrilled to be a part of the thriving Sarasota art scene, and is excited by the many opportunities in this art community.
Jeffery Kin is a lifelong student of the arts. He enjoys his time onstage, offstage, backstage and in front of the stage. He finds time for all of these stages as the Artistic Director at The Players Theatre. As an actor he has performed such roles as Max in Lend Me A Tenor, Guido in Nine, Zach in A Chorus Line and most recently Jerry in The Full Monty. As a playwright, his plays have been produced in venues across the country and have won numerous awards. Jeffery holds a BFA in Performance from Otterbein University and is a proud supporter of volunteerism and the fine arts!
Mike McManus attended the famed American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. While in Manhattan he studied with many of America’s great dance talents including Henry LaTang, Mary Jane Brown, Charles Kelley, Jerry Ames, and Phil Cook. Mike also had the privilege of taking classes with Patsy Swayze (Patrick Swayze’s Mom) in Houston, Texas. Mike also works at local retirement centers as a care-giver and performing Steven Vincent’s Movement Magic exercise program for seniors. He has taught dance for The Players for over seventeen years.
Michelle Pozzie studied dance and choreography at Columbia College of Chicago. She danced professionally for the NFL dance team, Chicago Honey Bear Dancers, which included USO tours, Industrial shows, as well as being a featured dancer on U Dance w/B96 and “Oprah Winfrey’s Dance Party/featuring Barry White.” Michelle has also danced and choreographed for many artists including, 98 degrees, NSYNC, Fraternity and Ricky Martin. She performed and modeled through the Indy Cart PPG Series for Tecate’, and has also been featured on NBC, Discovery Channel and on Chicago’s WGN Morning Show. Since relocating to Florida, Michelle has enjoyed being a wife and mother of two and also managing models and talent.
Kay Siebold has been teaching tap dancing for over thirty years. She owned and operated “K’s Dance Schools” in the states and in Saudi Arabia where she also had the opportunity to teach Arabian Princesses. She has performed and choreographed for various dance companies and in Las Vegas reunion shows. Kay studied under numerous dancers, and has had award winning competition students. She has also completed Debbi Dee’s Tap Teach Intensive Workshops. Kay has appeared in The Players productions of Anything Goes, Oklahoma, The Producers, Seussical and 9 to 5.
Pamela Ann Wiley began her professional theatre career at age eleven. She has appeared in over thirty-five plays in New York, Los Angeles and Sarasota, including a season at the Asolo, and has made more than one hundred fifty television commercials. She has directed a number of productions for The Players, Theatre Odyssey and Got a Minute. Pam has a BA and Educational Degree in Theatre, Film and Speech.
