 Showcase on Renowned Stages: As a member of The Players Studio Competition Team, you’ll have the chance to shine on prestigious stages. Participating in events such as Access Broadway, Junior Theater Festival, Thespians, and other celebrated competitions as a solo artist and as an ensemble. 🌟

 No Class tuition: There are no membership fees to be a part of The Team, However, please note that there are Fees associated for costs for travel, competition fees and registration, and costumes/gear. 🌟

Junior Theater Festival Performance Team!

AGES 10-18

We are ecstatic to announce that The Players Studio will be attending the Junior Theater Festival again in January 2026!  This group will perform a 15-minute cut of our soon to be announced Jr production at the Festival! 

The Junior Theater Festival (JTF) is the premier platform for young musical theater enthusiasts to display their talents. Imagine an action-packed weekend where student groups from across the globe come together to celebrate the art of musical theater. Each team performs a dynamic 15-minute segment from a Broadway Junior® production and receives constructive feedback from a panel of musical theater professionals. The festival also includes workshops for students, parents, and educators, previews of upcoming musicals, and culminates in a dazzling concert featuring top Broadway performers

Rehearsals:

Week Intensive: September 1-September 6, 6pm-9pm daily
Saturday 1:30-4pm
Regular Rehearsals: Mondays 6-9pm 
Saturday’s 1:30-4pm

production dates (regular rehearsal times included) 

  • Performance: December 12-13 
  • Extended Rehearsals: December 6-11th
  • JTF performance:  January 18-18
  • Extended Rehearsals
  • **Possible Rehearsals during second week of Winter break, January 12-14 

    Cost
  •  Tuition/registration: $900

    Includes:

  • Materials and licensing fees
  • in house production
  • Show Shirt
  • Bracelets for trading with other schools at JTF.
 
ADDITIONAL COSTS
  • Tickets: $400/person (including parents attending and watching performance)
  • Hotel: $825/room
  • Flights: $300-$400
  • Transportation: $100/person
 
Payments:
  • $400/person due at time of enrollment for ticket purchase. PARENTS ATTENDING MUST ALSO ENROLL! 
  • $825 hotel fee due September 10th
  • $100 transportation fee
  • Monthly Payments available for the remaining $900 (between August and December)
  • Addition costs not included: food, merch, personal supplies

Commitment to team:
 
Once cast, students are required to attend rehearsals and to rehearse at home. This group is a commitment and requires students to dedicate time to create a cohesive team. Constant missing of rehearsals may result in removal of role/from the show. This is also a financial commitment, and once the initial payments are received we will be purchasing tickets and they are non-refundable. Plane tickets, travel costs, food, and hotel will also be additional costs. 
 
Auditions:
  • First Day of Intensive September 1
  • Prepare: one song from the show…See below
  • Dress: PleaseDress ready to dance and move. Wear appropriate dance shoes and clothing.

Callbacks will be held if necessary

  • Rapunzels Prince- Agony
(Additional smaller roles will be cast) 
 
Travel Info:
All team members must arrive in Atlanta Friday Morning, January 16th. The Players Team will be arriving Thursday evening, so all students traveling with us will need to fly out with us and plan to stay until Monday morning. 4 nights. Students traveling with parents can arrive Thursday or Friday, but it must be Friday morning. There are activities starting early Friday. 
Transportation cost and planning is the responsibility of each family. We will have group rates for transportation and hotel available in August. We recommend utilizing these options as it is fun for students to travel together! Room share, carpooling is always an option for families and can save the total cost/family.
