Located on “the cultural coast”, The Players Studio is the strong-arm of The Players Centre. Established in 1995, TPS has been dedicated to providing theatre arts education to the Sarasota, Florida and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

Whether you are bright and beginning, or a seasoned artist looking to cultivate your skills, you have a home here. We pride ourselves in offering not only exceptional arts education, but a space to freely explore, create, and develop skills to succeed onstage and in life.

What Makes the Players Great?

  • Provides theatre arts training in a multitude of arts disciplines for ages as young as 6 months to 99 years old annually.
  • Located in Rosemary Square Park, The Players Studio is a collective space where students can thrive artistically in a supportive, nurturing, and familial atmosphere.
  • Offers multiple performance opportunities throughout the year, including special performance groups for ages 5 to 50+, which foster not only skills, but community outreach as well.
  • Choose from over 30 classes in theatre mediums such as acting, dancing, singing, and stagecraft.
  • Teaching artists work alongside students to encourage individual abilities through their specific training as dedicated masters of their skillset.
  • Scholarships available and offer support to 50+ students annually through The Players Building Better Grownups Scholarship Program.
